Experience Uganda’s Wild Heart
Gorillas in the mist of Bwindi. Chimpanzees calling through Kibale. Sunsets over the Kazinga Channel. Phy Travellers designs small, personal safaris across Uganda and Rwanda — planned by local experts, built around the moments you came for.
Who We Are
A Kampala-based team that plans Uganda the way we’d plan it for family.
Phy Travellers was built on a simple idea: the best safaris come from people who actually know the ground — which ranger stations run on time, which lodge has the best view of the Rwenzoris, and which forest trail gives you the quietest hour with a gorilla family. We handle the permits, the driver-guides, and the logistics, so you can focus on the parts that stay with you long after the trip ends.
A share of every booking supports ranger and porter families working alongside the Uganda Wildlife Authority — because the wildlife you’ve come to see only survives if the people protecting it can thrive too.

Reflections of Enjoyment
What it feels like, in their words
“Our guide got us to the gorilla briefing early, read the trail conditions perfectly, and somehow made a four-hour trek feel effortless. This was the trip of a lifetime, planned like it was routine.”
“We booked a car and driver for 9 days with almost no notice and it was the smoothest part of our whole Africa trip. Comfortable vehicle, punctual, and genuinely fun to travel with.”
“Traveling with two kids felt genuinely manageable. They built the itinerary around nap times and short game drives without us even asking. We’re already planning the next one.”
